He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Francis and Lula Marr (Wilson); and his siblings, Harry "Kenneth", Clarence "Dunny", Paul, William "Bill" Marr, Clarestine Unsworth, Mary Nuzum, Helen "Genevieve" Jeffers, Daisy "Louise" Trafford, Alma Clark and Wanda Everett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Farley; his children, Carl "Mike" Marr, Jr. (Miki), Wayne Marr (Michelle) and Cheryl Barrington (Robert); his grandchildren, Miko, Myka Marr, Aurelia, Lincoln Barrington, Emma, Paige and Casey Brokopp; and his parents-in-law, Joe Farley, David Farley (Joanne), Mark Farley (Wilma), Sally Gabel, Philip Farley (Rowena) and Jarvis Everett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
