He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gemmell and Susie Gemmell (Berry). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gemmell (Caron); and his sister Lily Charles. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
