He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Hart Whittaker and Russell D. Whittaker; and his brothers, Richard Whittaker and Russ Whittaker. He is survived by: his wife Joan Garfinkel Whittaker; and his sister Mary Eisenzimmer of Ohio.
