It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance T. Dowrey of Venice, Florida, born in Westerly, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Tobin and Lois M. Tobin of Bradford, RI; her brothers, Ned Tobin of Port Charlotte, FL and Kenneth E. Tobin of Bradford, RI; and her son Thomas H. Douglas, Jr. of Westerly, RI..
She is survived by: her husband Gary L. Dowrey; her brother David G. Tobin (Holly) of Charlestown, RI; her daughter-in-law Margo H. Douglas of Westerly, RI; her sons, Michael A. Douglas (Laura) of Brooklyn, CT and Stephen A. Douglas of Marietta, GA; her stepchildren, Gary M. Dowrey (Susan) of Blackstone, MA, Robert E. Dowrey (Susan) of North Stonington, CT and Rebecca Jacoinski (Larry) of Westerly, RI.; her grandchildren, Madelyn, Margo, Joshua, Colton, Mara, Sean, Beth, Heather, Grace, Brooke, Jack, Luke, Zachary and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Oliver and Lucian. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
