We are sad to announce that, on August 5, 2023, David E. Gomes of Venice, Florida, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl A. Gomes (Fontaine); his parents, Julio T. Gomes and Elsie Gomes (Barber); and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his children, Kyla Gomes, Jessica Desorcy (Michael) and Ian Gomes (Kait); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Eve, Benjamin, Jackson, Juliana, Declan, Saoirse and Eamon; his sisters, Nancy, Brenda, Donna, Marsha, Kim and Robin (Jean Henry); and his friends, John, Barbara, Eileen, Lulu, Rich, Chris and Michelle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
