We announce the death of David Carl Sampson (Venice, Florida), who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 79. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sampson and Ruth Sampson (Scott); and his brother John Sampson of Venice, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Kieffer; his children, Karen Hoffman (Kurt), Margaret Hargrove (Steven) and Thomas Sampson; his siblings, Vince Jones (Jane) of Dorchester, Holly Molina of Aurora and Jan Sampson (Patrick O'Malley) of Loudon, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Steven Hargrove (Sharon), Brittney Joy (Matthew), Grace, Caiden, Maxwell Hargrove, T. William, Kyle and Olivia Sampson. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.
