Donald J. Mahar Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 17, 2026, at the age of 81, Donald J. Mahar of Venice, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald A. Mahar and Patricia Mahar (Turner); and his children, Kevin and Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hislop; his daughter Colleen (Amy); his grandchildren, Kasey and Stan; his son Colonel Todd Mahar; his grandchildren, Evan and Callee; and his sister Marilyn Crowther. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donald's memory to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
