He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Frank; his parents, Francesco DiLorenzo and Francesca DiLorenzo of Sicily; his wife Marilyn; his sister Josephine Guigliano; his daughters, Debra Garlick and Leslie Bates (Scott); and his grandchildren, Cassandra Bannerman (Dana), Courtney Mueller (Brian), James DeQuila (Melinda), Christopher Garlick (Doris), Joseph Garlick (Eva), Frank DiLorenzo and Vincent DiLorenzo. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
