He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Peters, (Cannon) and Harold J. Peters, Sr.; and his brothers, Martin Peters and Donald Peters. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cole Peters; his sister Katherine Newby (William); his sisters-in-law, Elaine Peters, Eileen Cole and Carol Walsh; his children, Susan Peters, Stephanie Peters Cantu (Guillermo) and Brian Peters; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Brian, Catie, Eleanor and Braeden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or Wounded Warrior Project.
