She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Hull and Elizabeth Hull; her husband James "Jim" D. Backman, Jr.; and her children, James David Backman III (Patricia), Janice Backman-Glasspool (Edwin) and Jeffrey Hull Backman (Wendy). She was also cherished by five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
