He is survived by: his wife Dolores Gentry of Venice, FL; his children, Kim Forsythe (Rob) of Naples, FL and Mike Gentry of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Christopher Forsythe of Naples, FL, Clayton Joseph Gentry of Nashville, TN and Taylor Ann Gentry of Nashville, TN; and his sisters, Jewel Waters of Texas and Judy Hoover of California. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in honor of Joe Gentry to the Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans Home, 21281 Grayton Terrace, Port Charlotte, FL 33954.
