He was predeceased by: his parents, John Conrad and Marie Rose Kopp (Monturi); and his sister Lynn Flower. He is survived by: his children, Kevin and Kristi of North Bay, Ontario..

Post retirement, he discovered the game of Bocce at Bay Indies in Venice, Florida until age related mobility issues (triggered by covid isolation) got in the way.
