She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester W. Anderson and Inez L. Anderson (Pifer); and her siblings, Joanna Anderson and William Anderson. She is survived by: her sisters, Diane Furdell of Kenmore, Sylvia A. Marks-Newman of Delray Beach and Christine Lally of Castleton; her stepchildren, Beth Dragon, Amy Buechel, Anita Houston, Melissa Comstock, MerriJo Siebert, King O. Houston and Tommi Houston; and her spouse Odette K. Houston (Sam).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Venice (1971 Pinebrook Rd, Venice, FL 34292).
In leu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans Foundation, USO, or the American Indian College Fund.
