She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Matzat and Lelia Matzat (Kastner). She is survived by: her husband Curtis M. Nielsen; her children, Kelsey Gurbick (Nick) of Plymouth, IN, Austin Nielsen (Brooke) of Bremen, IN and Jared Nielsen (Leah) of Bremen, IN; her siblings, Jane Radtke (Russell) of Valparaiso, IN and James Matzat (Terry) of Castle Pines, CO.; and her grandchildren, Macey, Laney, Cooper, Edward, Kathleen, Martin, Tess, Sloane, Will and Dane.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
