He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Donahue Rich and John "Jack" Rich; and his son Matthew O. Rich. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Booth Rich; his daughters, Amanda Rich of Clayton and Jacqueline Rich of Venice, Florida; his grandchildren, Devin Rich-Spadaro, Georgina Rich-Spadaro, Jack Meddaugh, Eryn Meddaugh and Ethan Meddaugh; his great grandchild Lily; and his siblings, Christopher Rich, Robert Rich, Rosemary Rich and Susan Sheerin.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1301 Center Rd, Venice, FL 34292). The military honors will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Venice Memorial Gardens (1950 Center Rd, Venice, FL 34292).
