He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard O'Brien and Katherine O'Brien (Rupinski); and his wife W. Karen O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Eric O'Brien and Heather; his son-in-law Keith Taylor; his granddaughters, Emma Taylor, Victoria Taylor, Christina Taylor and Sabrina Taylor; his brother-in-law Ronald Scurek; and his nephews, John Scurek and Steven Scurek.
