It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Jay Desain of Venice, Florida, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nancy DeSain and Robert "Billy" Wells; and his uncle Charles Petrus. He is survived by: his parents, Jay Thomas DeSain (Jennifer) and Vickie Bogan (Jessica Hall); his siblings, Darryl Long Jr., Vincent DeSain and Giulietta DeSain; his grandparents, Thomas DeSain and Diane Duffus (Robert Torres); his great-grandparent Ella Mae Smith; his aunts and uncles, Laurie Bennett (George), Andrea Petrus, Willie Lundy (B. B.), Trevor Duffus (Baby), Billy Wells, Robert Wells and Maurice Wells; and his nephew Asher Long.

Even though Nicholas was taken to soon from this world, he was an organ donor, and his donation will help others in need.
