Susan Maurer Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Maurer of Venice, Florida, born in Auburn, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Susan left this world on November 13, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo Nicandri and Katherine Nicandri; and her siblings, John and Barbara Nicandri. She is survived by: her daughters, Lindsay Orzel (David) of Keuka Park, NY and Carolyn Callahan (Michael) of Bethesda, MD; her grandchildren, Jackson, Joey Orzel, Clara and Betty Callahan; her siblings, Stephen Nicandri (Trish) of Webster, NY and Lucy Nicandri (Richard Davis) of Sarasota, FL; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Nicandri (Auburn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church - Syracuse (127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY 13219). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
