She is survived by: her daughter Shelia Bourkard; her grandchildren, Callie Coatney Evans (Matt), Jeremy Joseph Coatney, Jason Durand Coatney, Lonnie Carter Faison, McKenzie Rae Faison and Ridge Walton Faison; and her brother H. L. Brown (Lilla Jane). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
