With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lynn Martin of Vernon, Florida, who passed away on December 30, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Potter Martin and Velma Esther Martin (Frank); and his brother Mike Martin. He is survived by: his wife Sarah L. Martin of Vernon, Florida; his sons, Gabe Martin (Heather Bullock) and Walker Martin; his stepson Mark Bynum (Nancy) of Gastonia; and his siblings, Jim Martin, Chuck Martin of Panama City, Florida and Jorita Banter (David) of Huntington, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
