He was predeceased by: his father Richard "RJ" Padgett; his grandparents, Rosa Padgett, John and Mittie Kolmetz; his brother Tommy Allen Padgett; and his nephew William Thomas Padgett.
He is survived by: his mother Bertha Jean Kolmetz Padgett; his children, Tommy Carr (Shawna) and KC Coleman (Jeff); his siblings, Scott Padgett (Glenna) and Patti Padgett; his grandchildren, Justin (Rachel), Tanner, Karlee, Kelley (Malachi), Dechlan, Jordan, Tommy and Ayla; his great grandchildren, Eli and Beau; and his friend Larry King. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Live Oak Baptist Church (5211 Millers Ferry Rd, Vernon, FL 32462). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
