She is survived by : her former life partner William Merelman of Maryland; her husband LeRoy W. Hansen, Jr.; her brother David S. C. Perlman (Sheila) of Imlaystown, NJ.; her daughter Doreen Edelman (Irwin Studen) of Herndon, VA; and her grandchildren, Alex Edelman (Mckinley) of Bethesda and Rachel Edelman of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by her five nieces and nephews.

“Deepest condolences to Roy and Ann's family. We will miss visits and chats with Ann who was a good friend dating back to January of 1997 when we first moved next door to the Hansen's on Marlin Drive. Ann and Roy were the first ones to welcome us to the neighborhood and we have been friends ever since. Ann was a lovely person and a loyal friend, always lending an ear and a supportive voice, and a joyful smile. Our thoughts and best wishes in remembering a dear friend, Sandy and Jim Packer”
