He was predeceased by: his parents, Seow Naraine and Bindoo Mattie; his sisters, Ghan, Lala, Betty, Sunny and Seeta; and his nephews, Jahm and Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Leela; his children, Suraj, Avinash and Kalindi; his grandchildren, Christopher, Ayaan, Niam and Reya; and his siblings, Rattie, Uma, Freddie and Prakash. He is also survived by his wife, siblings, nieces, nephews, sons, grandchildren.
