She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Gardner and Barbara Gardner of West Hartford, Connecticut.; her husband Stephen M. Tolander; her sisters, Linda O'Connell of Burlington, CT. and Susan Gardner of Polson, MT.; her stepdaughter Stephanie Kuhlman of Fort Pierce, FL.; and her stepgrandsons, Joel and Noah.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (1850 6th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
