He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Elliott and Louisa Vann Elliott; and his brothers, Carl and Vann Elliott. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Pike (Andy) of Vero Beach, Scott Elliott (Jan) of Jupiter and Beth Keith of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen, Austin, Kyle, Lauren and Katie; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Chloe, Cody and Harper; his sister Sue Bernardy of Acworth; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Johnson of Vero Beach.
