She was loved and cherished by many people including : her significant other Robert Wild; her parents, Russell Thomas and Margaret Thomas (Price); her siblings, Marjorie Orlosky, Walter Thomas and Rob Thomas; her children, Jeff Wild (Patti), Holly Rigby (Tim), Heidi Ergas (Sanders) and Lisa Odgers (Brian); and her grandchildren, Allison Beindorf (Jim), Cassie Morgan (Aron), Suzanne Holliman (Blake), Sean Rigby, Alyssa Seidel (Dave), Riley Odgers and Tyler Odgers.

Karen Hurtack wrote a sympathy message

“There are never the right words to ease the pain we go through losing those we love. Please know you are all in my thought and prayers. i have only fond memories of Aunt Vaughn and will miss running into her shopping at Boscov's. Seems we both had the same shopping schedule. She would update me on the family each time we met and I know how proud she was of all of you. She is gone, but still there are memories no one can take away. May she rest in peace.”
