“Dr Gary was our Medical Director at the VNA Hospice Home and Facilities Team when I started as a case manager in June of 2008. He was one of the kindest doctors I've known in my lifetime! He cared deeply for his patients and staff and treated us nurses with utmost respect and appreciation. He will forever be in our hearts! My sincerest condolences to the bereaved family, Carol, Doug and Judy.”

“I worked at Florida Baptist and so had the privilege of knowing Dr Silverman as the Medical Director there. Always showed kindness and compassion to the residents. He was also my Primary Dr and I was very much at ease with his care. I got my elderly Father into him and he showed nothing but kindness and good health care to my Father. Fly high Doc and RIP. You’ll be sadly missed by many. My Condolences go out to his Wife, son and Sister and friends whom many lives he touched.”

“I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Silverman since I became a nurse in 2005. I will never forget the day he scolded me for not knowing if my patient had a bowel movement and the importance of knowing that information when he asked for it. He definitely taught me the important parts of nursing and caring for the elderly. I often think of him and even wanted to reach out lately but didn’t know how. It’s too late now but he has never left my thoughts and I will always value everything he taught me.”
