He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Griner Arden, Sr. and Alice Wilkins Arden; and his aunt Katie Wilkins. He is survived by: his wife Celeta Haffield Arden; his children, Kelly Arden Friedman (Jonathan) and Christopher Derek Arden (Mary Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Carter R. Friedman, Amelia A. Friedman, Elizabeth S. Arden (Ellie) and Hamilton Dale Arden.
