He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Veronica (Carney) and James Haigney; and his sisters, Marie McGovern (Michael) and Margaret Taylor (Francis). He is survived by: his husband Timothy Sanchez; his brothers, William Haigney (Ellen) and Stephen Haigney (Teresa); and his daughter Christine Haigney.

After a battle with long-term COVID-19, Jim's health gradually declined.
