He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy "Pat" Ruth Kirby (Blakley); and his son Kevin. He is survived by: his children, John H. Kirby, II (Alice) and Kimberly Kirby Kern (Joe); and his grandchildren, Kendall Mora (Nick), Kaitlin Compton (Bruce) and Cameron Kirby (Steffany). He is also survived by his 6 great-grandchildren.
