He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leahy and Mary Leahy (Brady); his son Donnie; and his brothers, Jimmy and Billy.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Leahy; his son Jim Leahy (Ellen); his stepsons, Scott Sutton (Elva) and Clint Sutton (Doris); his grandchildren, Kevin Leahy and Kristen Leahy; and his sister-in-law Kathy Reese.
