It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Brown Jr. in Vero Beach, Florida, born in Micco, Florida, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Brown, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Brown (Davies); and his siblings, Rodney Phelps, Wilford Phelps, Melba Phelps McLain and Verna Brown Davis.
He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Brown Redfern, Laura Brown Conner of Cocoa, FL, Jeanette Brown O'Meara of Blackshear, GA and Daisy Brown Knowles of Micco, FL.; his nieces and nephews, LaVerne, Barbara Ann, Elaine, John, William, Pam, Donnie, Karen, Joni, Kelley, Tanya and Becki; and his close friend Eva Sherrill. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
