We are sad to announce that, on September 11, 2022, at the age of 76, Joseph Augustus of Vero Beach, Florida, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Elizabeth Cook and Joseph Augustus Cook; and his siblings, William Cook, Margaret Buttons and Ruth Elizabeth St. Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce McNeal Cook; his children, Joseph Augustus Cook III (Katy) of Nashville, Anne Cook Allen (Jody) of Bowling Green and Elizabeth Cook Vaughan (Lee) of Nashville; his stepchildren, Naomi Fecca (Mike), Dana Miller (Michael) and Jack Crites (Shannon); his sister Judy Batts (Tom); and his grandchildren, McLain Bender, Emmie Bender, McAulay Vaughan, Anne Vaughan, Clyde Vaughan and Will Cook. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
