With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph R. Byers (Vero Beach, Florida), born in Leeds, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Byers and Laura Byers (Woodard); his wife Linda Byers (Teter); his children, Joseph Jr. (Denise Byers), Lori (Michael Creighton) and Julie (Paul Beihold); his grandchildren, Kayla Creighton, Aaron (Angela Creighton), Cameron (Michelle Creighton), Stephen Beihold, Anne Beihold and Ava Rose Byers; Felix Finck, Dean Creighton and Dallas Creighton.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
