We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2025, at the age of 89, Joyce Elizabeth Gaskin (Vero Beach, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ernest Blackmon and Josephine Clewis Blackmon; her husband Thad Webster Gaskin; and her siblings, Earlie, Albert, Rozier, Graham, John Blackmon, Willa Stevens, Mary Mauss and Margaret Stevens.
She is survived by: her brother Thurman Blackman (Marie); her children, Sharon Denise Gaskin (George Duvall III) and Thad Eric Gaskin; her grandchildren, Christopher Mays (Kimberly), Emily Le Falchier (Patrick) and Erica Snowden (Reed); and her great grandchildren, Palmer, Nola Mays, Caden Le Falchier and Ember Snowden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from her nine siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Methodist Church of Vero Beach, FL.
