She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sumner and Doris Mislove Sumner; and her brother John Sumner. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Sumner and Joey Dobbs (Jennifer); her brothers, Michael Sumner and Al Sumner; her grandchildren, Julianna, JoJo, Racheal, Rhianna, Raina and JuJu; and her close friend Melonie Smart.
