“My aunt Kaethe Heide, born Heins, was the most beauteous family member I ever knew. The beauty I mean was the one that came out of her loving energy and sympathy. It was a gift when "Aunt Käthe from Denmark" (that's what I called her as a child) when she visited her place of birth - quaint village 'Sprötze', Germany in the '70ies. Together with her grandmother Catharina Winkelmann (* 1885), she was a positive role-model for me (niece of Kathe and great-granddaughter of Catharina). They simply knew to emphasize the good in life and to let pass on this spirit. They were good-hearted. I thank Kathe still sharing her beauty this with us. Seeing her dancing in the wind above the endless waves into the light, where she belongs. We deeply share the grief of Carina, Thomas, Mirja, their family members - and the grannydogs Anna and her daughter Eflin (a.k.a 'Annette')”
