He is survived by: his wife Carolina Arruda; his children, Kylie Simons, Lorenzo Arruda and Amelia Simons; his parents, Tim Simons and Jenee Simons; and his siblings, Brad Simons, Katie Emerson and Melissa "Winky" Simons. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel in Vero Beach, Florida.
