He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet and Marjorie of Olean; and his cousin Jeff Johnson of Monroe, Michigan.. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kohler MacDonald; his children, Scott MacDonald of San Jose, Tara Striffler of Jeju Island and Colleen Kissell of Roanoke, Virginia; his brother Tom MacDonald of Indian Land; his cousin Cheryl Bauschard Bouchard of Washington; his grandchildren, Ethan Kissell, Piper Striffler and Lila Brandom-MacDonald; his nieces, Kelly Bernal and Nicole MacDonald; and his nephew Shawn MacDonald.
