It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Hurst (Vero Beach, Florida), born in Trenton, Florida, who passed away on June 3, 2018, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurst Strickland (Doris) and Jean "Gigi" Strickland; and his siblings, Ronnie Strickland and Gwendolyn DeVand. He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Hurst; his children, Summer Simpson (Larry), Ben Hurst, Brook Lyons (Eddy), Corey Hurst, Kailee DeVuyst and Brendan DeVuyst; his grandchildren, Aidan Chase, Kierian Chase, Shiloh Hurst, Isabella Shafer, Keaton Lyons and Kaia Lyons; and his siblings, Donnie Strickland (Anne), Lonnie Strickland (Stephanie), Darlene Strickland, James Hurst (Jana), Keith Hurst (Nancy), Cheryl Spires-Primeau and Lisa Spires-Shaffer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
