With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myric WILLIAM Laite of Vero Beach, Florida, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on January 21, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Laite, Sr. and Thelma Dusenbury Laite; and his brother Luther Laite II (Peggy Laite). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Kosco Laite (Cathy); his daughters, Angelique Laite (Angel), Mary Bernadette Laite (Bunny), Christian Kline and Michelle Jorgensen; his stepchildren, Ryan, Amara Raffensberger and Rachel Walter; his mother-in-law Ann M. Kosco; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Marie Kosco-Vilbois (Francis Vilbois), Patricia Cossard, John (Janet Kosco) and Thomas Kosco; his nieces, Vicki Laite and Patti Laite; his grandchildren, Courtney Ryan Baldwin, Aaron Myric Hosegood, Cody Craig Allen, Chase William Allen, Tyler Lee Jones, Cheyanne Renee Laite, Ashely Davidson, Chastian Storm, Harley Storm-Yu and Layla Ann Walter; and his daughter Thelma Laite Jones (Bobbi).
