She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert L. Roberts and Nancy Cordelia Hudson; her children, Nancy Brown (James) of Stuart and Robert H. Ellis (Susan) of Port St; her granddaughters, Allison Brown Smith (Richard), Christina Brown Paluvai (Venk), Kimberly Ellis Shepard (Ian), Brittney Ellis Simmons (Justin) and Amy Ellis Dewitt (Rich); her great grandchildren, Parrish, Logan Smith, Kylie, Caleb Shepard, Gracie, Jack Dewitt and Jordan Simmons; her husband James H. Ellis; and her son James Randolph Ellis. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
