She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Taylor and Elizabeth Palmer, Sr.; her husband Charles R. Applegate, III; her sister Karlyn Smith; her daughters, Constance A. Whidden of Freehold and Deborah A. Applegate of Vero Beach; her granddaughters, Cynthia W. Russo (Antonio) and Kimberly W. Fusco; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Russo and Sofia Russo; and her brothers, Thomas Palmer and Taylor Palmer, Jr.. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
