It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ozburn Dennis (Vero Beach, Florida), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Johnson "John" Hagood II; and her sisters, Janine Madison (Jim) and Joyce Palmer (Roy). She is survived by: her brother Pierce Johnson (Nancy); her brother-in-law Roy Palmer (Joyce); her children, Kelton "Kel" Farris, Jr. (Margaret) and Jana Ringgold (Charlie); her grandchildren, John Farris (Morgan) and Madison Frazee (Jack); and her friend Betty Hagood. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and other family members.
