“Going to miss "Auntie Val" so much. So many good memories. She and "cousin Shirley" once visited me in Washington, DC when they were travelling through on the train. Gave them a 15-minute drive around DC and made them dinner-then, back on the train! She, Aunt Dori, and Aunt Pat came to see me when my kids were born and it meant so much. I will always cherish the trip she and I made to Vero Beach 20 years ago. Really enjoyed having her all to myself during that time-I learned she was afraid of heights when we drove through Chattanooga, Tennessee and she decline my offer of going somewhere we could get a good view! Have I said I'm going to miss her? I'm thinking of you all during this sad and difficult time.”

“This is one of the saddest events of my life. Our family was so blessed to have such an amazing Auntie Val! I’m sure she is feeling very happy now, being reunited with all the special people who went before her. We unfortunately will be missing her terribly!
