He is survived by: his wife Carole Sherman (Frisch); his daughters, Dr. Debra Sheman (Christopher Zirps) and Dale Sherman Knutsen (Gregg); his grandchildren, Melissa Zirps, Benjamin Zirps, Cameron Knutsen and Kyle Knutsen; his nieces, Teri Sherman, Vicki Tropp, Lori Burke and Judi McAnaw; and his nephew Steven Rubin.
