He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rand and Lillian Rand (Smith); his former wife Judith Rand; his brother Warren Rand; and his sister-in-law Janice Rand.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Rand (Brown); his children, Susan Dilworth (Jamie) of Street, MD and Erik Rand (Kerry) of Abingdon, MD; his stepson Gary Cornwell (Rene'e) of Vero Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Jay, Scott Dilworth, Zach, Emma Rand, Gary Jo and Christopher Cornwell; and his great grandchildren, Alexa and Olivia Cornwell.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Wollaston Cemetery (20 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169).
