It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley M. Smith of Vero Beach, Florida, born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara J. Smith; his parents, Charles Smith and Clara Smith; his former wife Judith Smith; and his siblings, Wade Smith and Sandra (Robert Adomavicia).

He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Davis; his stepchildren, Steve Anderson (Cathy) and Karin Anderson; his sister-in-law Diana Smith; and his grandchildren, James Davis, Jillian Davis, Jordan, Austin and Aaron Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
