He is survived by: his wife Grier McFarland; his children, Laura McFarland-Taylor (Michael) of Lowell and William J McFarland (JoAnne); his grandchildren, Chandler J McFarland of Gainesville, Joseph A McFarland and Anna J. McFarland of Gainesville; his sister Jan Bowen of Sparks; and his niece Diana Keary of Savannah.
