He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Gerhart and Helen Gerhart (Gross); his wife Pauline Angstadt Gerhart; his grandson Kasie Angstadt-Okpe; and his sister Marian.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Gerhart Lapinski (Mark) of Bethlehem, PA, Darren Gerhart of Quakertown, PA and Christine Angstadt of Vero Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Alexis Lapinski, TroiAnn, Alden, Derek Gerhart, Reece, Chase Daniels, Shaiquil Parker, Alizae Simonette and Kadija Foster; his great grandchildren, Zyana Simonette, Kai Parker and James Fox; and his siblings, Arthur E. Gerhart, Richard Gerhart (Jeannie), Leroy Gerhart (Diane), Linda Hinkle (Torry), Sharon Everett (Don) and Faith Suelke (Dennis).
